  1. Black Swan Morris are also attending two other lovely events- The Pentacle Drummers wassail is on Saturday 14th Jan at The Royal Oak and Castle Inn, Pevensey BN24 5, 6-11pm. We will then be joining our friends Box Hill Bedlam Morris in wassailing at Dorking Community Orchards on Saturday 21st Jan, starting at 4pm at Dorking Brewery, West Station Yard, Station Road, RH4 1HF. Rumour has it that the green man himself will be putting in an appearance!

My husband, two friends and I wassailed one of the old apple trees in our garden on Saturday. Part of a 100+ year old orchard, they are almost certain to be bulldozed with a proposed development later this year. Regrettably we couldn’t find many sources of information rather than wikipedia for information and incantations; however henceforth I will follow this blog for more information. If someone has the time or inclination, I would be grateful for a response at the attached email. Many thanks and best wishes from southern Ontario, Canada.
