All things Green Man & the traditional Jack-in-the-Green

Bristol Jack-in-the-Green

The sun is shining in Bristol and the Bristol Jack-in-the-Green will come alive here by Bristol’s historic Harbourside this morning and will then lead a magical procession through the city’s streets.

Tonight on Horfield Common, at the end of his journey, Jack must die, to release the Spirit of Summer. Come and witness this spectacle, and take away a few leaves and a little of Bristol’s history and culture.
